  1. TACOPS SCENARIO GUIDE SUPPLEMENT

This supplement is designed to give players an approximate ranking of the difficulty of all of the TacOps scenarios, including the 16 scenarios featured on the first TacOps scenario disk. This ranking is based solely on the total number of individual vehicles, infantry squads/teams, and weapons teams (IVST) available to the U.S. player as reported in order of battle report in the Reports menu for each scenario.

  6. This ranking assumes that an inexperienced player will want to start playing with only a few vehicles, infantry units, and weapons teams until he/she gets a feel for the game's dynamics.

  8. It should be noted that other factors, such as optional units, force ratio, mission objectives, and time limit, also have an impact on the difficulty of any scenario. This supplement makes no attempt to consider these additional factors in its rankings.
